The Royal Yacht Club is located on the former island Kellet in Hong Kong. The island was handed over in 1938 by the Royal Navy to the Royal Yacht Club Hong Kong, which built there his clubhouse in 1940. For the construction of the Cross-Harbor tunnel from 1969 to 1972, Kellett island was integrated by land reclamation in the coastline of Hong Kong Island. In the current renovation, TOPAKUSTIK®-panels with American walnut veneer surface were fixed under a metal ceiling frame. The outlets of the air conditioning system are inconspicuously integrated into the recessed black joints, thus allowing the architect’s design idea to be implemented. In the bistro, the Micro perforated panels with white painted surface were invisibly installed with the Z1 system.
