> SurfacesObject of the Month May: "DER" Derendingen Mitte
The new centre «Mitte» was designed to create a place for encounters, education, and services, with a public-oriented use in the foreground. The new centre buildings are divided into three areas: multipurpose hall, school, and administration Office.
Our team was commissioned to produce the ceiling panels for the gym and multipurpose area with spectator gallery. They were realized with finish oak melamine. Since the supporting structure of the gymnasium is made of concrete, the space appears very clean, cool, and plain. Therefore, the customer chose a warm colour for the ceiling covering, which blends perfectly with the new ambiance. The micro-perforation not only provides excellent acoustics but also aesthetics.
