The Forensic Medicine Centre in Hongkong is a government lead design project to meet the highest standards of functionality, professionalism, and design. The Centre plays a critical role in forensic investigations and public service, requiring a balance of advanced acoustic performance and aesthetic appeal.
For this project, we proudly supplied more than 1’000 m² of Topakustik panels/planks and Topakustik moisture resistance timber baffles, which were installed in key areas such as consultation rooms, examination rooms, and common spaces. Corridor panels were crafted with a micro-perforation design, ensuring superior sound absorption and clarity – essential for maintaining confidentiality and facilitating sensitive communication in these specialized environments.
The project presented unique challenges, as the design needed to combine precise acoustic performance with a clean, modern look.
