Top Project - August 2021

The primary school buildings in need of renovation were replaced with a new building – it offers space for 200 children from Azmoos and Trübbach.
According to the architectural office Felgendreher Olfs Köchling Architekten, the challenge was to integrate the large building mass into the village, which is today characterized by family homes. This was solved very well with a wooden structure, which is closed off with five gable roofs instead of a large roof.
The whole building impresses with its high quality and is also sustainable and economical. Our contribution to the success was the delivery of several 1,000m2 micro-planks for the classrooms and the gym. With this, all walls and ceilings were executed and although the floor is also made of oak, the ambience is modern and contemporary.
