The wall cladding for this object was made with Topakustik planks in 3D optics. This 3D look is achieved by planing the individual strips to different depths. The core material is a three-layer fir board, which we have in stock in Lungern. These Topakustik-planks Classic were installed in Switzerland, where a different approach is taken to fire exposure than abroad. Products with a fire rating of RF3 (combustible) are possible in Switzerland, but escape routes must be designed in RF1 (non-combustible).

The client is Tecnofil AG Filtertechnik in Gränichen (AG). This typical Swiss company with 90 employees manufactures filters that serve to improve air and water quality for the protection of people and the environment. The wall cladding in almost natural fir wood is an ideal fit.
