“Invisible” Micro perforated acoustic panels installed for Standard Life Investments

Swiss Topperfo Micro acoustic panels faced in Sycamore veneer with 0.5mm diameter “invisible” micro perforations were installed to provide discreet high performance Euroclass A sound absorption in Standard Life Investments new development at no. 5 Welbeck Street in the heart of London’s West End.

MCM Architecture specified these high performance Micro panels to provide a high quality appearance and create an acoustically controlled environment.

Specially selected veneers chosen by the architect were used to face the panels before the micro perforations were added.

Topakustik Panels Provide The Acoustic Control In The University Of Oxford’s New Weston Library

The University of Oxford's Weston Library has reopened to academics following an £80m refurbishment. The library, formerly known as the New Bodleian, has three new reading rooms, research and teaching facilities and storage for the library's valuable special collections. Wilkinson Ayre Architects specified Swiss Topakustik slotted timber acoustic panels supplied by their sole UK Distributor Acoustic Products Ltd to provide acoustic control in a number of important areas. Over 700 Sq M of painted and veneered Topakustik panels and U-shaped ceiling rafts were installed in public circulation areas and in the lecture theatre.

The red painted movable wall panels create a meeting room behind the reception area and when the panels are stacked away a large open plan space is created for company and client functions.
